Something about this scene really gets to me in a touching way and I don’t know why. Maybe it has to do with how Korra’s sleeping peacefully with her hair down, despite all the cuts and bruises all over her body. Maybe it even has to do with wondering what’s going on in Mako’s head as he stays by Korra’s side. I honestly haven’t figured it out yet, though I have a good feeling about it.
